Spiritual But Not Religious? PDF Print E-mail

Unity Church of Lake Havasu City is a vibrant and exciting spiritual
community dedicated to experiencing its oneness with God by living
and sharing the transforming way of life as revealed by Jesus Christ.

 What is Unity

A Church that Exists to help you Transform Your Life

If you've given up on traditional churches, we think you'll be in for a treat at Unity Church of Lake Havasu…

If you believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and that life is consciousness…

If you want a church whose message is relevant and whose style is contemporary…

And a church that respects a variety of religious traditions believing that there are many paths to God…

Then we believe you'll feel as if you've come home!

Unity Church of Lake Havasu exists to help you transform your life through the use of spiritual principles and practices. We believe life is meant to work well, and we are dedicated to helping people awaken spiritually and to develop a meaningful relationship with God in a safe and loving environment.

 The Unity Connection

We are part of the worldwide Unity movement founded in 1889 and affiliated with Unity School of Christianity, publishers of the Daily Word magazine and Silent Unity, the largest continuous 24-hour prayer ministry, Unity Church of Lake Havasu City is committed to enlighten, to encourage and inspire spiritual growth through loving service and lessons in practical Christianity.

The Sunday Experience
A meeting place and time will be announced, please provide your email address for updates.

UNITY'S BASIC TEACHINGS
1. God is good and is everywhere present.
2. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently good.
3. We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.
4. There is power in affirmative prayer, which increases our connection to God.
5. Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We must live them.

As a religious/spiritual movement, Unity's primary goal is to help people develop a personal relationship with God - not membership, conversion, or evangelism.

Unity is a teaching rather than a creed; a practical way of life more than a set of beliefs.

We interpret the Bible spiritually/metaphysically, rather than literally. Unity is Christian -- though we recognize the truth and goodness found in all religions.

We accept Jesus Christ as our primary teacher & way-shower.

Unity practices the religion of Jesus rather than the religion "about" Jesus.
